thinking of buying new synth recommendations

I'm really out of the loop and need some help. I'm currently using an old Roland XP-30 both as my keyboard controler and external synth. It's alright but I'd like to upgrade to something newer. I just have no idea what's out there. Here's what I want: 61 semi weighted keys with after touch. Lots of great meat and potato sounds especially acoustic and electric pianos, electric bass, pads and orchestra. Very easy to use effects section. Extremely user friendly documentation. Don't need an on board sequencer, I'll do that with Logic. I would be great if it's old enough that someone has already created a multi-instrument layer that I can just download off the web. Thanks,
