David,.. A question on your arrange

Hi David.

I happen to see this picture of your arrange http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=3102

I like the colors you use particularly the waveform itself, as some are white, others are black.

This is not a Logic 8 project, I know.

Those colors you used, are they possible to create in Logic.

L8 seems to not allow customized wavefile color,.. seems odd they woud remove this feature.

anyway, nice one.

Any tips?

Best-

Thanks for the quick reply,.

Too bad we can't color them like L7,.. I also prefer the little midi notes over the lines,. seems more music like to me.... I dunno.

I wonder why they would they would remove features though?

Thanks again,

Best-

That wasn't a feature in L7, it was the same idea but they used white and black waveform, now they use dark gray and bright gray.

As for the notes/beams, back in L7 you could ALWAYS hear people complain that the little notes were useless and Logic should use beams to represent the length of the notes like all the other DAWs. Now that they've changed it it seems that all the people who liked the notes better are waking up.

I think as customizable as L8 is, these both (waveform & Midi style) should be selectable. As in Nuendo/Cubase.

But thats because I started with those DAWS.

just my 2 Cents.
