question about EXS24 mkII parameters window, Logic Express 8

The user manual says that under "options" clicking "recall settings from instrument" will restore "the original parameter settings of the loaded sampler instrument." But clicking "save settings to instrument" will store "the current settings of the parameters window into the instrument file," so that "when the instrument is reloaded, these settings are restored in the parameters window." So my question is: Once I save new settings in this way, is it possible to still use the "recall setting from instrument" selection to return to the originals?

Sorry, when clicking "save settings to instrument" the "recall settings from instrument" is overwritten with the settings you were saving. There's always "recall default exs24 settings" though, if that helps in any way..
