thomas01001
Hi guys, sorry for what might be a really silly question. I recently bought a Tascam US-122L audio interface. It plugs into my USB. I installed the driver and it appears to be working. I have a SM57 to connect to it. If I just want to record something simple, ala an acoustic guitar track in Logic Express, where exactly should I connect my mic and what buttons should I press (both on the interface and in Logic)? David Nahmani
Connect your mic to input 1, setup an audio track selecting input 1, record-enable it and click record in the Transport bar.
bjs
What David said. Also be sure to turn input knob to "mic" if you're using a mic on an audio track. You didn't mention whether your mic needs phantom power or not. Also if it doesn't seem to work you may need to check the Tascam website for drivers.
