m-m-m Posted May 7, 2008 Author Share Posted May 7, 2008 I found their official site, and they have a download up there so you can do remixes .... if you click the music/speaker icon on the page, 8 little faders come up and you can remix on the site. Pretty cool webdesign .... I've necer seen that done before. http://www.rhombus.co.nz/main.html It seems like I stumbled onto something pretty cool. I really like dub music and it turns out that they are more dub based than the track I listed above indicated. They also aren't as big as I thought that they might be ... I think that the only had 4000 or so friends on myspace. Hard to belive. I guess they just tend to stay around the southern Pacific and southeast asia (they are from NZ). fadercraig Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 As their profile was building in NZ, one of the 2 main writers was living in Japan, so it was slow going, they had a couple of good videos and an album with a decent profile...then the energetic frontman left to form his own outfit (Olmecha Supreme-more spacey-indie-dub-rock-roots) so they have a succession of vocalists, they normally do quite well here, but NZ is a small country and we have a tiny music industry...well more like a hobby really! I think one of the main dudes may still be based outta the country ? They are indeed working on a new record ... had a little conversation with one of the band members via myspace. I ended up buying their second album via myspace, and I've been listening to it a lot.
