sukerpunk
Hello all, just wondering if anyone knew of a website that lists all the latest AU/VST/RTAS plugins. More specificaly,I am looking for those plugs that make your track "stutter" and also another one I seem to be hearing is like the the tape being sped up and slowed down. Any help would be awesome indeed. Peace J
syncsailor
Have you checked the KVR audio site? If not, it would be the perfect place to start.
sukerpunk
Thanx for the reply, ya, i have kept my eye on that site, however, I just dont seem to see any of these amazing plugs that I am hearing in todays electro tracks. It almost seems they are speeding up and slowing down singled out tracks in a mix and really chopping the sh*t out of them for the most part (which I know can be done manualy) however, this doesnt sound like typical manual chopping. Im going to keep looking. if anyone can help would B RAD J
David Nahmani
For cutting, try livecut, it's free. For slowing down / speeding up effects, try: http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=2580
sukerpunk
Hey david thanx, you always know what ur talking about, it's rad. Do you know of any paid AU's that do these trix? I am D/ling the free ones now but I have usualy got better results from paid products. (get what ya pay for) type theory. I have dedicated my whole day in search of these kind of "spastic" plugs but have found they are mostly RTAS N Windows bassed, could this be true?? Why are they getting all the "newer" goodies B4 us? damn
MtL
You can get some great stutter effects with Amadeus Pro and the "cut", "copy" and "paste" effects (This requires an understanding of zero crossings.) While micro-editing the waveform is hardly a set-and-forget effect, it can teach you incredible things about the correlation between the wave shape and the sound you hear. Speeding up and slowing down? You could curve automate the tempo track while running a time-based effect like delay.

prjkt
Treally chopping the sh*t out of them for the most part (which I know can be done manualy)from what i've read/heard in discussions with artists in magazines/interviews etc alot of it actually is done manually, depending on the sound you're after - and quite a few artists will load up cuts of an audio track into the exs24 and sequence it that way
