seahaefeli
I know that for audio recordings, a great recording is key to a great mix. Does the same hold true for midi mixing, going from a project sequenced in Logic and mixed in Pro Tools? I want to know because when I begin mixing my current project, the engineer will most likely use PT, and my mixing capabilities are not stellar, so I want to know what I will lose in that transition. David Nahmani
You'll want to record your MIDI regions into Audio Files. Record all your synths (MIDI or virtual) into Audio Tracks. Make sure all your levels are optimal (nice size waveform, peaking pretty high but not distorted) and then export all your tracks as audio file to transfer to ProTools. kirkeeb
All my projects are "midi-ized" in Logic then "FREEZE TRACK" as an audio file.... Then "Import To Track" in Pro Tools...and your rockin'!!! Great way to be "Pro Tools" friendly. I give it "****".
