backslash
So here's the story we're using mainstage for live shows, to trigger drum samples through the esx24, route vocals through a firebox and and midi keyboards with various patches. It has been working really well in 10.5.1 but for various reasons we're wondering how 10.5.3 would affect things. In the past we updated to 10.5.2 but found it un-usable for live situations. Disaster City so we went back to 10.5.1. I'm wondering if anyone here has tried out Mainstage and 10.5.3? Is it stable? Is there still audio drop outs? Another thing I'm unclear about is that recent Logic update. Was it purely a Logic Pro update or did certain aspects affect Mainstage. Any feedback would be great. Orsanct
I played with it a bit today. So far so good. I haven't really put it through any particularly grueling tests however. As always, your mileage may vary! BTW, I didn't notice any update to Mainstage during the Logic update.
manofra
I think Backslash meant the OS update. Logic is behaving a lot better as a whole, with far less overload issues -- even at 32 samples! This happened with the OS update. So I assume Mainstage will possibly behave better as well. Like Orsanct, I'll put together a very demanding set and run it for hours, to see what's happening. == Manofra ==
