First off, am i allowed to post on here, i am certainly no Logic Pro.

 

I have a few questions regarding the MacBookPro and the Sennheiser HD650's.

 

My first question is :- Can i change the internal SoundCard of the MacBookPro, im not sure if i actually will i am just curious. I use the Edirol UA-25 as a headphone amp at the moment, which works fine. Is there any benefit to changing the external SoundCard?

 

Second Question :- Regarding the Sennheiser HD650's. I just recently brought a pair of these amazing headphones and wow, they are as good as people say. The pair i own have the grill on the side which looks great, only after a few months of use i realise i should of brought the pair with the closed sides. Is there a way for me to replace the grills?

On the first question I would say, don't bother changing the guts of the laptop (I don't think you can even do that, because they're not meant to be changed anyway). If you want a better soundcard, which means you want to use the features like mic pres, midi and multitracking options, it always depends on your needs and how much you're willing to spend.
