Is it possible to automate a high pass or low pass filter, to establish the wellknow effect you hear in dance music alot (it seems like the sound is far away/in the room besides you, and then suddently kicks back in full force..) David Nahmani Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 I would: 1) insert a low-pass filter (you'll have to experiment with different plug-ins to find the one you like the best) and manually play with the frequency, bringing it down then slowly raising it. 2) Click the Automation button, set the track to "latch", press play and tweak.
