How do I record a synthesizer?

I have an Alesis Micron and an M-Audio Firewire Solo.

I'm trying to record the synthesizer but I don't know how to pull it up on Logic.

I have connected the "output" on the micron to the "input" to the Firewire solo.

Now I just don't know how to record the settings on the micron.

Any help? :/

thanks,

record... the settings on the micron? Not sure what you mean.

But to record the audio from the Micron, create a stereo audio track, set its input to the input where the Micron is plugged on the interface, rec-arm that track and press record.

haha ya ya i meant the audio from the micron. haha.

alright, i created a new track, selected stereo, and i tried both input 1-2/3-4 and nothing came out.

and i checked "input monitoring" and "record enable" as well.

any solutions?
