¨Tap Tempo¨ starts the seq out of sync, plus error pop up

Logic 7.1.1

iBook G4 os X 10.4.11

no audio interface, integrated audio.

 

I need to start the sequence by tapping tempo, but when Logic starts the audio is shiffted after the playhead, for instance, when I stop the sequence Logic continues to play for a couple of beats. This is accompanied by an error message saying (in french so this is a rough translation) ¨error while sync'in audio and midi¨

All I need to do is set a tempo and play some exs samples in a loop
