fader8
Here's an interesting tune one of my students just finished. I started teaching him Logic sequencing and sound design when he was 13, he's 15 now. He's really come along. If you're at all curious as to what goes through the mind of a 15 year old, it's definitely worth a listen! m-m-m
I really like it. It moves along quite nicely and doesn't really get too static at any point in the song. Good work FaderLad!!!

fader8
Thanks guys, Ill pass those comments along. Virtually all of it is stuff he sampled himself. I like how he cut samples away from the zero crossing and then incorporated that glitch into the music. I think it's effective in this piece without being over the top. Almost every hit effect has some kind of filter or pitch ride too. The glitchiness and the saturated percussion seem to compliment each other. Not my everyday listening music, but I like what he's done. Lots of attention to detail.
