DaniGordon
Need advice, please. Recorded a bass player on some songs. The tracks are edited and with some regions from punch ins. I need to send each bass track from the very beginning (for better syncing) to a Pro Tools user. The thing is there's no mono bounce in Logic. May I just bounce a split stereo file and send him that? He can then just pick the left or right track and use one of them? Or may I create some regions from position 1 1 1 1 and glue the whole track so I can have a whole file from the very beginning without having to bounce? Or create new audio file from those regions? I'll appreciate any help.
Rasmus Faber
If the output is mono, then the bounced file will be as well, so just press the stereo symbol on the master channel strip!
David Nahmani
If the output is mono, then the bounced file will be as well, so just press the stereo symbol on the master channel strip! .. Then click on the "Bnce" button for a mono bounce.
marcel72
The thing is there's no mono bounce in Logic. I can do mono bounces from Logic..(? ) Your output objects should have the same little mono/stereo buttons that the channel strips have. make sure that the mono you are using is to the correct output (once you switch from stereo) and bounce. Really, it's not a big deal. As long as you panned hard to one side, the guy would just bring the file into PT, split it onto a couple mono tracks, and delete one of them. So no stress anyways. Even if you centered it, he could export a mono sum and then import that...
DaniGordon
Hey guys! Thank you all! Of course! The output channel strip's stereo/mono button. Didn't think about it. Will do it.
