dryfish
Hello all, I'm creating some(well quite a few) custom kits for use in ultrabeat. I'm mapping each kit into the hyper edit as I'm using logic pro 7. Thing is, I want to control ultrabeats parameters from inside hyper edit, I've done this for my other logic instruments with no problems with use of the fader option inside the hyper. All my instruments respond apart from ultrabeat. Any suggestions? ps I'll be posting the finished kits onto the site.
LukeDunn
Have a look at these posts.... maybe they'll help. http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=62409#62409 http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=12968&highlight=hypersets Controlling the parameters of UB in a hyperset could be tricky... because there is a set of parameters for each sample. But it wold be nice to be able to do that. Luke
dryfish
Cheers for the response, and the links luke, much appreciated. This is the way I've been doing it, but the extra ones you've supplied come in well handy. I think ultrabeat is the exception to the rule, maybe this is the reason it's had a bit of a upgrade as regards to editing, in Logic 8. fader8
I can confirm that it's not possible to control Ultrabeat from a fader message hyperset. In fact, some fader messages are used for several parameters. I suppose there were simply too many parameters, 50 or so times 25 voices, that it wasn't possible under the present scheme.
