charlieplatnum
You know how the MPC let's you load up to 4 samples on one pad, or how Reason's Redrum allows you to trigger multiple samples by linking them via CV, or assigning the sample to the same key (C1 etc.) in Battery3, to be triggered simultaneously by striking one pad/key. Can this be done with the UltraBeat???
fader8
IN LP7, if you knew how to make the proper kind of EXS file, you could load that in the sample loader of UB. Kind of a back door thing. But in LP8, that no longer works. Now you can allegedly import an entire EXS kit, which I would assume to include layered samples, but I've had no luck yet in my few attempts at this. However, a recent update to Redmatica's Keymap allows you to save a sample stack as a .UBS file, which can be loaded into the Osc2 sample loader. This works very well. But without Keymap . . . .
