fabriciom
Hello, can someone explain to me how can I have multiple midi tracks pointing to the same Instrument track? I learned this with Pro Tools. I can have one instance of Kontakt load a bunch of instruments and have each on a midi channel I can then have multiple tracks of midi using only one instance of kontakt. I would like to do this with Ultrabeat and ESX24 so I can separate MIDI tracks for say drums, hi-hats, etc. -Thank You

fabriciom
Track > New With Same Channel Strip/Instrument. Does Track > New With Next Midi Channel do the same? Cause I tried it and it worked, but dont know many channels Ultrabeat has or if its better to do what you say.... -Thanks
David Nahmani
It's the almost the same, but it assigns a different MIDI channel for each track. That's only useful for multi-timbral instruments, which Ultrabeat isn't. Both will give you the same result.
