logicscott Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 Pardon me if I've missed this but...in LP7 we used to double click in the background while in piano roll and it would bring up all of the other tracks midi. ajustend Posted July 30, 2008 Share Posted July 30, 2008 Nope it's still there, but it works slightly different in Logic8. Now, whenever you have the Matrix Editor open in your lower panel, any regions you have selected above in your main window will be displayed in the piano roll. So if you only have one selected, that's all you will see, but selecting every region will show you all of the midi notes for the entire song. Pretty cool. I personally like the change they've made to it, and now that I'm used to using it, I find it much easier and quicker than the old double-click method.
