emperor12 Posted July 30, 2008 Share Posted July 30, 2008 I'm trying to control a sidechain from some midi notes instead of my kickdrum so I have a bit more control over the length etc. I remember reading a thread on that somewhere on here. I thought it was in tips (and Im pretty sure David wrote it) but I did a search and I cant find it. David Nahmani Posted July 30, 2008 Share Posted July 30, 2008 A bus is an audio connection, not MIDI, so you place the MIDI region on a software instrument track, choose a soft instrument (you can use klopfgeist for example), and output that soft inst channel strip to a bus.
