TakeItFromMe
I just bought Logic Studio with Logic Pro 8 for my MacBook and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a quality audio interface. I'm hoping for less than $500 and ideally 4 simultaneous inputs. Thoughts? Thanks.
triplets
4 simultaneous inputs with or without mic pres? If you want with there's no interface for 500 greens. The MOTU Ultralite costs 550 online and has 2 mic pres, 6 inputs, MIDI in out, SPDIF, 8 outputs.
TakeItFromMe
Thanks for the response. The only time I'd actually need to record multiple tracks at once is when I'm recording drums, in which case, to be honest, I don't know how important the mic pres are or aren't. If you can get a used RME FireFace 400 that would be a good choice, but at $500 I don't know.
TakeItFromMe
Hmm...yeah I don't think that's gonna happen. I bought a PreSonus 1394 a while back but the past few times I've used it it's been giving me a really low signal and a really tinny sound if I turn the gain way up. I'm not sure what happened to it. I might be able to get it repaired or replaced but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
