dakingraja
Is there a way that you can assign regions created in strip silence to keys on the keyboard or pads on a midi controller??
peeb
That's a good question. Not at Logic right now but i reckon the simplest answer might be to open Ultrabeat with David's Empty patch (someone will know where it is on this Forum) and Drag and Drop the samples from the arrange window into Ultrabeat
Waterboy
Sure there are a few ways. One way is to open EXS24. hit the Eidt button. Grab all of the regions you want to assign, and drag them into the Editor of EXS24. You will get a box asking about Contiguous Regions - just click yes for now. That's about it. I'll make a video of it, if you need, though. But don't expect to be impressed!

Holger Lagerfeldt
Is there a way that you can assign regions created in strip silence to keys on the keyboard or pads on a midi controller?? Apart from the EXS24 suggestions, you can always assign 1 audio file (region) to a key command. But several, no.

Waterboy
Nice Waterboy. You had me laughing. What software are you using for screen capture? Snapz Pro? Actually - I couldn't figure out how to make Snapz Pro X to work correctly .. I ain't the brightest bulb on the block! So I am using iShowU The quality isn't all that great ... SnapzProX would probably be better ... but this one worked with my setup (Ozonic as my soundcard, etc). I am glad you got a kick out of it. Thank you.
