Kimono
Hello, ! These forums rock... Just wondering if anyone can recommend a simple virtual bass guitar MIDI controller, I want to be able to punch in MIDI notes on my basslines from a virtual fretboard... Something compatible with logic pro 8 would be good. Handy when I want to write basslines any where K

Kimono
Slayer is very cool, but yes as mentioned I was hoping for something to allow me to enter my bass parts... I do my own live guitars but then are too lazy to record a bass guitar part, so I prefer to enter them while watching TV... something with a fretboard would make me hit the notes easier... Ploki
http://www.costco.ca/Images/Content/Product/775339cL_v.jpg THAT or, you can slap a roland GK into any guitar, just dont expect much of pitchbends.
kwackman
If you've already got a guitar..... +1 for the Roland GK pickup (you'll need a box or synth to convert it to MIDI). Pitchbend works OK for me- just need to turn it off for the piano patches!
Ploki
yeah. pitch bended piano is a bitch. :D and yeah, GK is also the cheapest solution if you have a guitar..
