Pno score using mouse to draw where notes are RH or LH

Does anyone know please if you can use your mouse in logic midi piano score to draw a continuous wavy line between the treble and bass staves to delineate the notes which are to be played with the right or left hand

That is instead of selecting a fixed split point where inevitably there will be a cluster of notes impossible to play in one or other hand

I have seen this facility some years ago and think it was an old version of logic

I think you're referring to the voice separation tool. You'll need to assign your left hand staff (bass) to MIDI channel 2 and your right hand (treble) to MIDI channel 1 for it to work properly.

I dont have Logic Pro at the moment but we will be using it when I return to college next week to teach and will see if your suggestion is indeed what I was thinking of
