sync clock, Big Ben vs. 10 year old Aardvark

Recommended Posts

So we've made our crazy little studio a little bit crazier and are now having clock issues. We have an old Arrdvark Arrdsync II and a Horita BSG laying around the studio which we have not been using. The question i pose to you is which sounds better an Apogee Big Ben or our old gear. We will be slaving 5 devises to our master clock whichever one we end up going with. We currently our using a set of AD-DA16x's connected via a symphony card. We then run our audio through a RME 800 and then a RME ADI-192DD and then a PT 888. As always any opinions would be appreciated.

So were gonna hook up our old Horita BSG and Aardvark Ardsync II and see if that helps our problems. As for the C777 clock coming out of our AD(DA)-16x we have been running clock out of the AD and just using T-connectors to get it to our other gear but then we have no way of connecting it to the old PT 888. Any ideas? If the C777 clock is better it would be nice to just use the one in the AD(DA) that we already have instead of buying a BIg Ben. What do you guys think?
