theepicbeat
Hi, I'm receiving my new Mac and a copy of Logic Studio tomorrow. I have been using a PC with a Toneport UX2 for recording vocals and guitar. Anybody else doing the same? What are your latency settings and what not. Just looking for tweaks in setup to get th best sound.
Spectacle
Hi. I've used the UX1 and the KB37 extensively with a Mac and both Logic 7 and Logic 8. No latency whatsoever with either of them -- a good solution for quite cheap. Still use the KB37 when I'm traveling. Now I'm running things through a Pod X3 Live (since they have the GearBox software running on this now), and it's even better! Best of luck to you! 8)
Kent Sandvik
I must say, running an Pod into Logic (in my case Pod XT) is a killer combination. I could download and modify existing simulations and keep interesting things around, download via the USB port and here we go. Endless ways to record guitar sounds -- and if needed I could take those on stage, too.
D-Man
Hey - I'm using the a toneport with Logic 8 as well but I'm brand new to Logic so can't offer much. Just thought I'd pipe up in this thread too. If anyone has ideas on how best to set up the toneport and logic to work together optimally i'd also be interested - cheers
