Is it possible to turn up metronome and turn down audio?

Hi,

 

While beat-mapping songs, I often can't hear the metronome very well over louder audio regions - is there any way to turn up the volume of the metronome and turn down the volume of the audio region so that I can hear it better?

...control click on the metronome icon --far right on the transport and then open the metronome settings. That will give you options.

Sorry - I forgot to mention that I already tried that, and it wasn't loud enough - is there any other way to turn the volume up relative to an audio region?

you can click on the "all" button on the mixer half of the arrange window. This will show you a track called click. You can open the insert labeled klopfgiest (however ya spell it) and edit various aspects of the click. Try that.

you could turn up the metronome as previously stated, then turn the volume down on the music track(s) either by pulling the faders down or by using the gain plug.

seaborn, in the Metronome settings, try sliding the "Tonality" to the right. It will make the click more piercing, to the point where it cuts through pretty much anything.

Perfect - I don't know why I didn't think to turn up the tonality. That works much better.
