sureno
well i wanted to line up 2 bits of audio on 2 seperate tracks so that the transients lined up and it was a smooth transition from one to the other, when ever i clicked on the audio to be moved the wave form disappears leaving me to keep moving it in a trial and error fashion, is there any way around this to keep the wave form visible? many thanks
m-m-m
you could just move your anchors on the 2 bits and then line 'em up that way .... .... probably know that one already, but other than that I got nothin'

No, the way m-m-m suggests is the right way to do this. It gives you complete visual control over where the transient falls. Give it a try. sureno
ok tried it, its not great but slightly better. when i set both anchors and move the bottom track the anchor disapears on the track above and reappears on the time bar, it doesnt however disappear on tracks below, if that makes sense? Spunkadellic
you can nudge the region with a nudge key command. set nudge value to sample and then you dont have to grab it and move it......you can just "nudge" it till it lines up perfectly
Spunkadellic
or you can cut the region where the highest peak is and line up the beginnings that way....then when they are aligned you can extend the region again
