fader8
If you use a Mackie or Logic Control with Logic 6, 7 or 8, you may have noticed that the way the display abbreviates track names can sometimes leave a lot to be desired. But yes, my friends, there is salvation! Open the track name for editing and place a backslash, ("\") after your track name. Now anything you type after the backslash is exactly what will show in the track display, up to 6 characters. So, if your track name is Juicy Snare, Logic will usually name it JcSnar or JuSnr or worse. But if you name the track Juicy Snare\JucySn then you'll just have a nice JucySn on your display.
