(something happaned)

I have Logic 4.7 which I haven't used which may seem a bit daft. I have used Cubase VST 5.1 and understand it reasonably well and I think it's time for me to start learning Logic which I have been some reading up on. I think the reason for not using Logic initially was the complexity level which I was told was harder than Cubase to begin with but now I can use Cubase I want to make useoif my Logic Audio Gold 4.7 which I paid £300 for few years ago.

I understand the last version of Logic was 5.5 on PC and mine is 4.7 which I understand and is VST 2 and will work with ASIO drivers.

Please will someone briefly explain the diiferences between Cubase VST 5.1 and Logic 4.7 Gold?

I understand there was a Logic 4.8 but how many updates were there after this?

I understand that Logic has an environment which is configurable to suit your needs

Any other background information is appreciated.
