pepperjack
How do i load sample sounds into the EXS24? If i have a wav file on my computer and i want to get it in my EXS24 so i have a new sound as one of my optinos, does it get it's own bank? is there a folder i can just drop it into? does it need to be WAV or something else? thank you! pepperjack
Tabnetic
once you open the exs24 you need to create a new "instrument" to load your own samples. this can be found by going to audio ---> EXS24 instrument editor---> new instrument. the features in this sampler are powerful. but too numerous to outline here. check your plugin reference manual p. 519 if you want to check out a good set of videos, i suggest: http://www.macprovideo.com/browse/logic it's straightforward and can give you a great overview of the program within a small period of time. FYI...it might be hard to get quick responses on some of these questions as they are rather basic, and pretty clearly outlined in the manual. if you want to dive right in...check out the videos they may help. best Tab
