Surround bounce is creating split stereol L & R files???

I've exported a quad surround project as split files.

The result in the finder shows four separate files named xxx.L xxx.R xxx.Ls xxx.Rs which is correct.

 

However when I drag the 4 files back into Logic.

3 tracks are created instead of four.

 

Track 1 imports xxx.L and xxx.R as a single split stereo file.

Track 2 and 3 import xxx.Ls and xxx.Rs as separate mono files.

 

How can I make Logic import xxx.L and xxx.R as separate mono files to two separate audio tracks.
