44.1 wav file plays to slow

I created a song(44.K) and dragged in some 44.1 wav file piano part . It played fine.

 

Then I accidently deleted the wav file.

 

After getting the wav file resent to me via WebCargo I dropped them into the track but the track plays too slow and not in pitch.

 

When I listen to the original wav file by itself it plays at the right speed.

 

Only when I drag it into my song tracks does it continue to play at the wrong pitch to the rest of the song.

 

Anybody have advice?

In the Audio Bin, check the sample rate of the new wave file.

 

Under Settings > Audio, check the project sample rate.

 

They should match.

Where is the Audio Bin setting for individual tracks? Couldn't find "Audio Bin" in the Logic Help Index.

On the Arrange window at the top far right you have the Media icon. Click on it and one of the tabs is the Audio Bin with all the files. Or you can just hit B on the keyboard while on the Arrange window.

I'm running Logic Pro 7.1.1 and don't see any Media Icon at top right. Where else might it be?
