driggitydru
I am trying to bounce this mix and I cannot do it without a glitch. It's a small pop in the first minute and a half. I've tried switching from 1024 all the way to 32 but that doesn't help. I took it off of my external and put it on a drive in my computer that didn't help. I don't know what to do it's very frustrating. The song is pretty heavy with UA plug-ins. I have a PPC G5 dual 2.5 with 4 gigs of ram. I am using Logic Pro 7 with one UAD 1 card. I would appreciate any suggestions. thanks
JETLAG
mute the plug-ins and see if that helps.. i had a bad problem with the Stillwell ROCKET compressor doing that.. does it do it when you play it? can you hear the pop just listening to the project..? Ploki
is the card overloaded or the cpu?
driggitydru
I ended up subbing my hi hat cambridge EQ's for the logic channel EQ and that seems to have cleared up the glitch. I guess it was to many UAD Plug ins. My UAD meter read 80% i guess that's about as far as she goes. thanks guys D
matt9b
another thing you can try is an online realtime bounce - I have found that often offline bounces don't work in a clean way when you have a lot of third party plugins, regardless of the computer's specs. If you can play the mix without errors then hopefully an online bounce will work.
