I spent the whole day on this after reading this post, and came up with a nice setup... but i dont know what archive should i upload here so everybody can use it... and for backup.

control over solo/mute, pan, volume, 2 bus send for 32 tracks (no matter if audio or instrument, just respect the order)

also volume for master, output, aux1 and 2

what file contain this setup?

That would be the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file, which is located in Library-->Preferences folder in your Home directory.

I would be pretty eager to test it out! I'm fine with the one I have, but the ability to use the same settings in a mixed audio/inst. environment would be sweet!

I've tried the com.apple.logic.pro.cs that has been posted on here only to show up as a cs dreamweaver file.

I've tried enigma, i've tried to follow the instructions here, i've done all the global buttons and made sure i was on the right one but still nothing.

i'm running snow leopard. every time i highlight a channel in mixer window i can only control fader with the far right fader which is not what is suppose to happen. This is frustrating. Please help. I don't know what else to do.

I've not tried the template out, but you're not supposed to open that file, you're supposed to place it in your Preferences folder, under ~[your user folder]/Library/Preferences. Probably a good idea to place your current one in a separate location if the attached file doesn't work to your liking, and you'd like to recover any settings you already have set up.
