Brian Albers Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 The first few times I used my Presonus Firebox surround sound audio interface with Logic, it worked just fine. But that only lasted a handful of sessions, and now it seems the Firebox has disappeared, both from Logic->Preferences->Audio as well as the core audio in the computer's system preferences. Powering up need to happen in a specific order- First turn on the computer with the Firebox unattached. Then connect the Firebox and the system preferences will see it. Activate it there. Then when I start up a Logic project, find the Firebox in those audio preferences and start it there. I don't know how I was doing it previously, but that's the order stuff needs to happen or else no dice. Sorry to waste your time. Carry on.
