need advice before I purchase

Currently, I am recording on an KORG D32.

Our band is accoustic, BUT I regularly use up to 16 tracks on the system during recording.

MASTERING on the D32 is horribly time-consuming...but I can export raw wav files for editing elsewhere!

Would LOGIC EXPRESS 8 allow me to import the .wav files...do initial edits and then export the individual .wav files BACK to the Korg for the final master cut?

I can do it on relatively inexpensive software, but it only allows me to edit 8 tracks at a time
