CD data. how can i see how much times a cd has been played?

Hey Guys,

 

Kinda off topic here, but you audio freaks probably know how to help hehe. How can i tell how many times a cd has been played or a track on the cd has been played? Is there a software or something?

You mean a physical CD?

 

IMHO. There is no way (software or other) to determine how many times it (CD) has been put in a discman/ getto blaster/ car stereo/ computer/ hifi/ cdj and been played.

 

Once an audio CD is written/ burned that is it (multi session CDRW excluded). No further data is added or tagged to the CD.

 

itunes will 'remember' (sorta like cookies on your browser) if you have put a CD into the mac, but it cannot determine how many times your little brotha played the CD on his pioneer CDJ to his gfriend at a house party.
