dalvinder
ive played in a cycle of midi hi hats to go along with my drum loop but i actually want to pan the cycle of hi hats so that each hat plays left right simantaniously(spelt that wrong lol). is there a plug in that i need to use? Thanks in advance people of the logic world!
michael.lee
I'm a little confused about what you're trying to do. do you have two separate HH parts that you want panned far left and far right? Or do you have one part that you want to have sweep from left to right? Or, maybe, do you have one part that you want to split so that you hear it from the left and from the right, but not in the middle of the mix? briandelizza
I am assuming you have the hi hat on a separate track than the rest of your drums. If this is the case you can use the tremolo plug-in to get the effect you are after. Just set the rate to the same speed as your hi hats (1/8 note, 1/16 note, etc...). I am also assuming that the hi hats are straight 1/8th or 1/16th notes. If they aren't you may need to get intimate with some pan automation.... David Nahmani
You could check out 'AutoPan' in the templates section of this forum. What you need to do is write MIDI CC#10 automation. You can: • set your track to 'Touch' and tweak your pan knob. • set your track to 'MIDI' and tweak your pan knob. • select your Region and go to View > Hyperdraw > Panorama, then draw the automation. ......
