Javier Posted June 24, 2006 Share Posted June 24, 2006 Okay. I JUST got Logic, and I have NO idea what I'm doing, but I guess first things first . . . I don't even know if this is the proper place to post this, but I don't know where else to. Hopefully I can be directed to the proper area if I don't get an answer here. I purchased an M-Audio Oxygen 61 midi controller along with Logic Pro 7, and 1) not only do I know nothing (practically) about this program (as stated earlier), but, even worse, or more dismall 2) I have NO idea how to program anything or use anything on this midi keyboard. I have no experience in midi controllers, and, aside from being able to load up and play the different software instruments in Logic and Garage Band, I have no idea how to ASSIGN functions - like how to use these many knobs to alter and sculpt the sound of the instrument. Just so no one thinks I haven't been attempting to help myself, I went to M-Audio and I've been reading (or TRYING to read) the manual to the Oxygen 61 - but since I know so very little, I don't even understand the terms really . . . It's almost like I'm so lost that I don't even know what questions to begin asking regarding how to use the midi keyboard to program stuff . . . Someone help me please. I guess, again, the one question is: Can someone help give me a simple step by step manner on how to program a parameter using my midi keyboard? (without saying "Go look in the manual" - because, again, I've been doing/trying that, and it's not helping). Thank you very much one and all in advance.
