dream
Hey everyone. This may be a stupid question, but is there a way to open a Pro Tools session up in Logic without having exported the OMF file from Pro Tools first? The reason why I'm asking is that I have been asked to remix an older song done in PT. I've since sold my PT system and now running Logic Pro 7.2.1 Any ideas anyone? David Nahmani
If you don't have ProTools export the song in some kind of file that Logic can read, like OMF or AAF, then Logic won't be able to open it: it doesn't recognize a ProTools file (that would be the day!). dream
That's the thing though... I think I need Pro Tools to open the session first, then I can export it as anOMF file, or is there another way to export OMF from the session without actually opening the session? And you're most likely correct. Digidesgn and Logic are not good bedmates... Dream
