i have set up the program and recorded through an 8 in 8 out presonus firepod, but after over dubbing tracks once i got past the initial 8, ( i have around 13, 14 audio tracks recorded) everything seems fine except i cant listen to all the tracks at once, (eg, when i have the vocals muted i can hear all the music but when the vocals are un muted i cant hear all the instruments, snare, lead guitar etc). in the audio mixer window on some tracks if i mute it another one will be heard, and when i turn the volume up one some tracks or pan, another volume or pan seems to copy it.

Basically i have all the tracks i want recorded but cant mix cause of these problems, they seem simple but i for whateva reason cant work it out, any help or suggestions would be much appreacted,

cheers Ben :(

You most probably have several tracks assigned to the same audio object.

Go to your Environment, 'Audio' layer: how many Audio object do you have that are assigned to 'Track' channel (visible on the channel strip in white lettering between the i/o section and the group/automation settings). You probably only have 8.

You need to use Track > Create Multiple in the Arrange's local menu to create more.
