David Nahmani Posted June 29, 2006 Share Posted June 29, 2006 The 49e is a MIDI Controller. It only sends MIDI data corresponding to your performance on the controller. It does not contain sound, therefore doesn't "receive" MIDI. All you have to do is make sure Logic receives the MIDI data when performed on the controller. You can for example setup an Audio Instrument track, and as long as it is rec-armed (R button red on the track), the virtual instrument inserted on the channel strip of that Audio instrument will receive the incoming MIDI data. PS: I don't think the 01x can act as a MIDI Interface to transmit your 49e's data to the computer. The easiest way to setup your 49e is a simple USB cable between it and the computer.
