ray
Hello---I am hoping someone can take me through my environment window setup so I can get some sound out of my studio!!! I have set it up 3 times in the past 8 years (with different versions of Logic), but I forgot, and I get no input or output indicated at the transport window......not to mention my studio monitors p.s. Thanks for any helpful reply.....Those guys at EMAGIC don't seem to care much for their products, as their e-mail and telephone support is no more.......Maybe I should switch to performer??? David Nahmani
What are you trying to setup: the audio or the MIDI side of things? For Audio, make sure to visit Audio>Audio Hardware and Drivers and to select the driver you installed for your Audio Interface. For MIDI.. well do you have any MIDI keyboard? I can try to help but we'll need a little more info on your setup!
ray
I just want to get midi happening...audio is no problem for me..(.even tho I havent done any since Logic is not up and running) I have a basic setup. 1 Roland keyboard and a Roland Bass and drums module..thats it! Add an MTP AV midi interface and you have the bulk of my system ( tons of sampled instruments, too, but never mind that........) So, 2 Multi-instruments and a midi interface...that is all Man, when I first bought Logic back in !996(?) I hardly did anything to the environment, and I was up and running!! Does this info help any?? I did notice that on the click and ports level of the envir. there was a virtual keyboard a physical mixer, and a bunch of other "default " elements on it I initialised both multi-instruments, activated each channel, and NOTHING.... In the thick instruction manual it DOES say something about a 'port' setting to the left of the envir. window-------------but I don't see one... anyway, enough yacking Tanks for any advice Ray Miami beach
