logic8mine
What are the reasons to keep Logic 8 on a system after an upgrade to Logic 9? Other than regaining disk space, are there good reasons to delete it? Also, I noticed that after launching one, I am prompted to re-register the other, is that normal? Thanks... Mans
Í hope you don't mind a little follow up to your question: is dragging the app to the trash bin all that is needed for an uninstall of the previous versions of the logic studio apps? Kent Sandvik
It's good to keep the old version around in case you need to go back to an earlier version of some reason -- LP8 does not take up much space. Yes, just drag the app into the trash and empty it. There might be residue files here and there that are no longer needed, too, but disk space is cheap. Don't know about the re-registration of LP8, didn't see this when I installed LP some time ago.
