JeffLogicUser
I am making the switch from garageband to logic and when i open a garageband project using logic it opens and loads properly; the tracks go where they were last saved in garageband into a Logic project , however there is no sound when the project plays. Please help! Thanks - Jeff
jamesmcn
I had a similar problem. When I imported a GB file, some of my tracks played, and others didn't. I toggled mute and unmute for each track, but that didn't help the quiet tracks play. Eventually I discovered that the silent tracks were muted at the MIDI region level rather than the track level. These tracks had a green outline, but gray interior. They also had a green circle in the upper left corner. Right clicking on the MIDI region and selecting "mute on/off" or pressing the M key brought the track back to life. Every time I find that I'm frustrated by logic it turns out that Logic has a much more sophisticated way of handling what I want to do than I first imagined. If anyone can help, I would be greatly appreciative!!! gdoubleyou
Garage Band files use some buss assignments, check to see if where the busses are routed to. I always have to to reasign I/O. 8)
