Just started messing around with this saves me loads of time when cutting up beats i think its great!!!

Just wanted to know if its possible to adjust or delete the transient/ slice points sometimes it just more slices in then i want making it harder for me to rearrange them effectively and i have to do some manually. Iv tried messing with the flex so there isn't as many markers but carnt figure it out.

cheers

when you double click a loop and it comes up in the sample editor, click the "analyze transients" button and you can either double click transients you don't want to take them out or use the pencil tool to add new ones in. then when you export to sampler rack choose "create zones from transient markers" and it should slice along the transients you just set.

Oh one more thing is it possible to set the folder where the new sampler instrument is saved currently the exs file is going to user/music/logic/sampler instruments this may be because my logic project files are not on the same HD as the system or because my projects havnt been saved as im just making instruments. But i would like them to go straight to user/library/app support/logic/sampler instruments so they show up in the exs window

thanks

Hi Jamie,

I think it's because your projects haven't been saved when you are converting to sampler instrument. The default behavior, in a saved project, is that Logic creates a unique sampler instruments and samples folder directly inside the project folder. I don't think there's any way to specifically direct it somewhere else automatically.
