flex + crossfade loop bug

Hi,

 

found that this morning,

 

import a audio loop in a track

turn that track to flex mode

select fade tool

fade the beginning and the start of the audio region =>

 

result Logic crashes.

i have just done what you have explained and logic does not crash for me... i think you are going to have to explain a bit more...

It happens when flex mode is active, drum mode, for the track and the transients are visible on the audio region.

I select the fade tool and move back and forward the fade in and fade out curves of the selected audio region.

I tried several with native apple loops and it crashes, every times even after restart the imac, Logic close without saving.

I gave it an other try.

The crash happens if I move the fade in or out during playback, if playback is stop, I can move the fade curves, it doesn't seem to crash.

Also if there is a fade curve visible on the audio region and if I clic to add a flex marker, crash even if playback is stopped.

I erased the cash preferences folder but it doesn't help.

 

leopard 10.5.8, imac 2.4 ghz

ok after you explained the third time with it only seeming to crash when you move the fades when logic is playing... well i tried this and it crashed my logic!, with an instant close and no save?.. but it did come up with a logic quit unexpectedly so i clicked on the report to apple button.. so it does indeed crash logic.. confirmed.. haha.

Thanks for your try 8EBREAKZER, I thougth I was the only Logic user in the world to face this issue.
