Frozen tracks are filled with static

Is it essential that you 'Freeze' your tracks?

Can you use the bounce in place feature instead?

Sure I can. I guess it's old workflow habits from L8 that still has me freezing tracks. Bounce in place works fine. I was just adding this to the database for the sake of completeness. It's not a crippling bug by any stretch.

If you put a level meter plug in the very 1st slot of the track (before freezing) do you see any clipping?

No, there's no clipping. Weirdest thing....

I moved it because unless many people can confirm this consistent behavior, this is not a bug, but an isolated issue. Those are a pain to isolate and understand (could be your interface, could be the sample rate you work at or a weird combination of settings, or you're using an old project file etc etc.. who knows!) - the database is for reproducible bugs that everyone experiences.

Static/crackling noise on frozen tracks.

Is anyone else having this problem in L9? It only happens with a plug-in is assigned (obviously). I've tried audio and midi tracks and the error appears on both.

I'm experiencing Static or insane white noise whenever I Export a track to audio. Any part in the audio file before audio starts comes out as white noise. I can go silence it, but it shouldn't be doing that in the first place.
