sageev
Hi I'm trying to copy midi tracks from one Project to another project, but pitchbend information is not being copied. Surely there is a way to do this automatically, isn't there? While I'm at it, is there a way to copy the channel strip information all at the same time (i.e. choice of software instrument, efx, etc)? Thanks, sageev
David Nahmani
In Logic 9, import the track using the File browser. Do you have Logic 9? Please add your Logic version and system info to your signature: Read Me Before Posting - Forum Guidelines (#5) PS: the pitch bend data within the region should be copied - how are you copying the region? Works fine here.
sageev
i hadn't tried export/import, thanks. i did need to do one more thing: i was using a S/W instrument in which i had gone into the settings of the instrument to set the amount of pitch bend, and therefore I also needed to copy and paste the exact channel strip settings-- otherwise the midi pitch bend info is there, but it wasn't sounding bent. is there a way to set the export function so that it also includes channel strip settings? (or to copy more than one channel strip setting at a time?) thanks again ps. signature revised as suggested, thanks.
David Nahmani
is there a way to set the export function so that it also includes channel strip settings? (or to copy more than one channel strip setting at a time?) You could save the MIDI file as a green apple loop (drag and drop on top the loops browser) or you could use the new Track Import feature to import the track and all its content (MIDI regions) and the corresponding channel strip setting, and that way you could import several at a time.
