Thomas91
If I go ahead and format my HD and reinstall a clean copy of Leopard does the install automatically install the latest version of Leopard (10.5.8/9) or does it just install the basic version? 10.5.8 has been nothing but a pain in the arse and I need to format my HD for the third maybe fourth time. I've got to say that I've lost all respect for Apple.
David Nahmani
Depends on the installer. Your installer has a specific version of Leopard. It will install that version.
Thomas91
That's good. Leopard shipped w/ my Mac Pro back in late 2007. If the format doesn't solve the issue then I'll be having some serious words with Apple.
triplets
If you want to go to 10.5.8 you should use the stand-alone Combo Updater, don't use Software Update.
Thomas91
I don't see why that would cause my Mac Pro to keep crashing. I thought it'd be a RAM issue but it's not.
